Email Consent Policy
How we handle email communications with users and tenants.

Oh/Jo Tech sends the following types of emails:
- Transactional Emails: Booking confirmations, waitlist updates, account notifications
- Service Emails: Product updates, feature announcements, security alerts
- Marketing Emails: Newsletters, promotional content, partner offers (opt-in only)
Different types of emails require different levels of consent:
Transactional Emails
No separate consent required. These are necessary for service delivery and are sent based on your account activity.
Marketing Emails
Explicit opt-in consent is required. Users must actively choose to receive marketing communications.
- Consent checkbox must be unchecked by default
- Clear description of what users are signing up for
- Easy one-click unsubscribe in every email
All marketing emails include an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribe requests are processed within 24 hours. Users can also manage preferences in their account settings.
Facility operators using Oh/Jo Tech must:
- 1Obtain proper consent before adding users to email lists
- 2Honor all unsubscribe requests promptly
- 3Never share user email addresses without consent
- 4Comply with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other applicable regulations
