This document outlines the exact verbal consent process used by Oh/Jo Tech tenant facilities to obtain SMS opt-in from end users during in-person check-in.

Consent is recorded in the Oh/Jo Tech platform immediately after the customer agrees. The following data points are captured:

Note: Only users with recorded consent in the Oh/Jo system may receive non-transactional SMS. Consent records are retained for compliance auditing.

Booking Confirmation

Your reservation at Sunset Courts for Court 3 on Feb 14 at 6:00 PM is confirmed. Check in at the front desk. Reply STOP to unsubscribe.

Session Reminder

Reminder: Your reservation at Sunset Courts starts in 15 minutes. Reply STOP to opt out.

5Opt-Out Process

Users can opt out of SMS messaging at any time through any of the following methods:

  • Reply STOP to any SMS message

    Honored immediately upon receipt

  • Adjust notification preferences in the Oh/Jo app

    Toggle SMS notifications off in account settings

  • Contact facility staff directly

    Staff will update the user's preferences in the Oh/Jo system

  • Email admin@ohjoenterprises.com

    Opt-out processed within 24 hours

STOP confirmation message: "You've been unsubscribed from [Facility Name] SMS alerts via Oh/Jo. You will not receive further messages. Reply START to re-subscribe."


6HELP Response

When a user replies HELP, they receive the following automated response:
